MIAMI, FL. (TELEMUDO) - Telemundo viewers will enjoy a week-long celebration of the 2006 Billboard Latin
Music Awards, driven by a one-hour special titled "Conteo al Billboard," and followed by on the scene coverage of the much anticipated awards show from several of the network's programs. The 2006 Billboard Latin
Music Awards will be broadcast live by Telemundo from Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, on Thursday, April 27 at 7PM (6 PM/c).
Telemundo's week-long special programming surrounding the music show includes the following:
Conteo al Billboard (Sunday, April 23, 8PM/7c)
Hosted by Penelope Menchaca from "12 Corazones," this special program showcases and interviews this year's multi category finalists, and includes commentaries from Telemundo personalities and actors such as
Maria Antonieta Collins (Cada Dia), Karim (Deportes Telemundo), Erick
Elias (Gitanas, El Cuerpo del Deseo),
Natalia Villaveces (Nitido),
Jorge Bernal (Al Rojo Vivo),
Gloria Aura (Frecuencia), Ana
Maria Polo (Caso Cerrado), Candela Ferro (Decisiones & awards host), and

On April 20th, Billboard Latin
Music Awards' Host Candela Ferro will be on the show live to give Titulares y Mas viewers a sneak preview to Latin music's biggest night. In addition, Titulares y Mas will feature a special wrap-up show produced from the venue on the night of the awards.
N?tido (Sunday, April 23 at 12PM/11c)
Directly from Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, this edition of Nitido, hosted by
Natalia Villaveces, will be dedicated entirely to the Billboard Latin
Music Awards.
Cada D?a con Mar?a Antonieta (Monday – Friday, 7AM/6c)
The morning show will feature a countdown with special segments on the finalists, airport and hotel arrivals of stars, behind-the-scenes interviews with the producers of the show, as well as rehearsal images, and a fun series where the intrepid "vecino" will try everything, even if it is getting a job at the venue, in order to get the scoop on the celebrities attending the awards.
Cotorreando (Monday – Friday, 12PM/11c)
Starting Monday, April 24, Cotorreando will air directly from Hard Rock Live featuring the show's rehearsals and interviews with the performers. The show is also airing a contest titled "Yo Quiero Ser Parte de Billboard" (I want to be part of Billboard). The main prize includes two round-trip tickets to South Florida, a five-day, four-night hotel stay plus $500 for personal expenses, and a make-over to attend the big event. Additionally, fashion expert Sixto Nolasco will focus on what the stars will wear the day of the highly awaited show, with expectations surrounding the fashion that will hit the red carpet, opinions from famous designers, and the selection of the perfect outfit for Telemundo personality Claudia Trejos.
Al Rojo Vivo con Mar?a

The popular news magazine will feature a special and interesting report on the making of the Billboard Latin
Music Award trophy. In addition, the show will focus on the hosts of the Billboard Latin
