NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - Weezer's fourth album, Maladroit, has been pushed back from an April 30 release date to May 14.

Contrary to the band's Web site, Interscope reps had confirmed April 30 as the release date for the album last month. But, the release date has been changed to May 14 to give them more time to finish the album. The video for the first single from Maladroit, "Dope Nose," will be shot in Los Angeles on Monday (April 8), according to the site.

And, it looks like the group's fifth album, already in production, will come out in February 2003, but that date is not set in stone.

Meanwhile, the band hits the road with Pete Yorn (for the North American dates) and AM Radio (for the Japan dates) on April 23 in Canada for its Dusty West '02 Tour. Here are the latest confirmed dates:
