NEW YORK (Duran Duran.com) - It's been a long time in the making, but Duran Duran seems to be moving forward with its reunion album, featuring original members Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, Andy Taylor, John Taylor, and Roger Taylor. The band's official Web site reported on Monday (April 8) that Duran Duran "completed a very successful two weeks of work in a London studio with [producer] Nile Rodgers. They are planning to reconvene around the beginning of May to complete final work on the record, again with Nile." Rumors of the reunion had been swirling since March 2001, but weren't confirmed until May of that year, at which time most had expected the release of an album by year's end. The new album will mark the first time in 15 years that the original lineup recorded together. Meanwhile, Dark Circles from the Devils - Rhodes' side-project with Stephen Duffy - is set for release in the U.K. on their own Tape Modern Records on June 17. Two videos are already in the can to promote the album for the tracks "Dark Circles" and "Hawks Do Not Share."
