NEW YORK (Eagle Rock Entertainment) - Eagle Rock Entertainment, through its wholly-owned Eagle Records subsidiary, will release Essentially Yes, a 5-CD boxed set of the long-lasting progressive band's late career. Early Yes has been thoroughly archived and repackaged. Late Yes has not been so assiduously cataloged\'85until now.

Nearly 40 years on, Yes continues to thrill fans worldwide on concert tours. There are those who say they are better now than ever. Singer Jon Anderson, bassist Chris Squire, drummer Alan White, and guitarist Steve Howe are each singular influences on two generations of musicians. Add singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Trevor Rabin and keyboardist Rick Wakeman and guitarist Billy Sherwood, all included herein, and you've got an essential add to any prog-rocker's collection.
Disc No 1 contains, in its entirety, the 1997 Open Your Eyes album.
Disc No 2 contains, in its entirety, 1999's The Ladder album.
Disc No 3 contains, in its entirety, the 2001 Magnification album.
Disc No 4 contains, in its entirety, the 1994 Talk album.

Disc No 5 contains a never-before-released live set from 2003, recorded at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. The 70-minute jam includes nine stand-out performances: 1) "Siberian Khatru," 2) "Magnification," 3) "Don't Kill The Whale," 4) "In The Presence Of" (complete with all four of its sections: "Deeper," "Death Of Ego," "True Beginner" and "Turn Around And Remember"), 5) "We Have Heaven," 6) "South Side Of The Sky," 7) "And You And I" (complete with all four of its sections: "Cord Of Life," "Eclipse," "The Preacher And The Teacher" and "Apocalypse"), 8) "Awaken" and 9) "I've Seen All Good People" (complete with both sections: "Your Move" and "All Good People").

With a new version of the classic Yes logo by acclaimed artist Roger Dean and a 16 page booklet detailing the Yes storyline, Essentially Yes chronicles a band deep with ideas, thirsty for new challenges, and confident in their powers that have yet to be diminished by time.
