Nickelback, Shakira, Mandy Moore set for MMVAs

TORONTO, Ca. (Muchmusic website) - Sum 41, Nickelback, Puddle Of Mudd, Swollen Members, Shakira, Avril Lavigne, and Lil Bow Wow have been confirmed as performers for this year's MuchMusic Video Awards.

The 13th annual awards will be broadcast live on Sunday, June 16 starting at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Best International Video - Artist Nominee Shakira will be performing along with Lil' Bow Wow who is also a Best International Video - Artist nominee. Best International Video - Group nominees Puddle Of Mudd is also on the bill. Canadian newcomer Avril Lavigne will be hitting the stage as will Canada’s biggest rockers Nickelback who have a total of eight MMVA nominations. Four time nominees Sum 41 will also be joining us as will six time nominees Swollen Members, joined by Moka Only of course.

There are going to be lots of guest on hand on June 16th as well. We will be joined by Korn, David Boreanaz from Angel, Nicholas Brendon from Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Default, model Shalom Harlow, Kristin Kreuk from Smallville , Glenn Lewis, Amanda Marshall, Mandy Moore, Our Lady Peace, Antonio Sabato Jr. , Will Sasso from MADtv, Sloan, David Usher plus The NHL's Jarome Iginla, Anson Carter and Cassie Campbell from the Canadian Women's Gold Medal Olympic Hockey Team.

Fans have until tonight at 5pm ET to enter online for a chance to win a VIP trip to the MMVAs (the winner plus 2 friends) complete with hotel and spending cash.
