Music Group USA is proud to announce its representation of the legendary Cy Coleman song catalogue. eginning in January 2007, Chrysalis will begin to exploit the Coleman catalogue on a worldwide basis. Coleman, a member of the ASCAP Songwriters Hall of Fame and winner of many Grammy and Tony awards, was initially a celebrated jazz and classical pianist before moving on to his monumental career in popular music. His contribution to the American songbook spans a remarkable six decades, and includes classic standards such as "Witchcraft," "Big Spender," "The Best Is Yet To Come," and "Hey Look Me Over," as interpreted by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Peggy Lee,
Sarah Vaughn,
Judy Garland and
Barbra Streisand to name a few.
Born Seymour Kaufman on June 14, 1929 in the Bronx, he is credited on an incredible 23 Broadway productions and revues, including "Sweet Charity," "Barnum," "City of Angels," "The Life" and "The Will Rogers Follies." Coleman died at the age of 75 on November 18, 2004.

Chrysalis is also proud to announce that the company has earned 41 nominations for the upcoming 2007 Grammy Awards. A stunning showing for a boutique publishing company such as Chrysalis, the nominations come from a wide variety of categories showing the depth and breadth of their catalogue. The 49th Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast on February 11 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles by CBS. Chrysalis would like to congratulate all of the nominees on its roster.
