SANTA MONICA, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Interscope Records) - Rich Boy, the first hip-hop artist from Mobile, Alabama to sign a major-label record deal, will release his self-titled debut album on Zone 4/Interscope Records on March 13, 2007.

"Throw Some D's," the first single from the LP, is a worldwide hit, having topped the Billboard singles charts and music video playlists on BET and MTV2. The success of the original spawned a popular, star-studded remix produced by Lil Jon and Polow Da Don, which features multi-platinum artists Andre 3000, Nelly, The Game, Jim Jones, and Murphy Lee.

The second single from Rich Boy is "Boy Looka Here," produced by Polow Da Don, the man behind hits from Fergie, Ciara, and Ludacris. Rich Boy will shoot the music video for the new track in his hometown during Mobile's Mardi Gras celebration on Monday, February 19th. He's holding an online contest via his myspace webpage (https://www.myspace.com/richboy) to find 'Lil Miss Alabama, a girl from Alabama that Rich will choose to make an appearance in the "Boy Looka Here" video.

"It's crazy," said the 23-year old of his recent success. "The support I'm getting for this record is unbelievable. I can't wait to take it all back home for the new video."

The video shoot launch will mark the beginning of a hectic few months for the young rapper. The following week he will perform at BET's NBA All-Star Weekend Party at the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas. From there he will hop on a nationwide tour with Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne, Jim Jones, and Juelz Santana.

In addition to Polow Da Don, who worked closely with Rich Boy on the album, producers Lil Jon, Brian Kidd and Needlez all contribute songs. Mississippi rapper David Banner, Grammy-winning singer/songwriter John Legend, Big Boi of OutKast and vocalist Keri Hilson are also featured.
