Love Songs Of The '70s was produced by Grammy Award®-winning songwriter/producer/engineer Michael Mangini (Joss Stone), who collaborated with the singer to showcase Donny at his romantic best. The nostalgic collection of love songs are all hand-picked favorites of the artist's, including the Al Green classic, 'Let's Stay Together,' the Barry Manilow staple, 'Mandy,' Ace's 'How Long' and 'Sometimes When We Touch' by Dan Hill to name a few. 'They're not only my memories; they're also other peoples' memories,' Osmond comments. Donny Osmond- Love Songs of the '70s marks his 55th recording and fourth Decca release. It comes on the heels of 2005's What I Meant To Say, which garnered praise from critics and fans alike, spawning a Top 20 Smooth Jazz single, 'Breeze on By.' Osmond's impressive start in show business began at the tender age of five. His Emmy-winning TV work includes the unforgettable variety show he hosted with sister Marie that made them household names and the youngest hosts in TV history; Donny and Marie's reunion for their popular talk show that followed years later; and finally the game show Pyramid that ran in the U.S. for two seasons, which he is slated to re-launch as host in the UK this May.
