Lynyrd Skynyrd "
Sweet Home Alabama"; Jim Peterick of
Survivor "Eye of the Tiger"; and Matt Scannell of
Vertical Horizon "She's
Everything You Want"; along with special guest C.J. Snare of Firehouse whose hits include "Love of a Lifetime", and "Don't Treat Me Bad".
Members of Scrap Metal, a who's who of multi-platinum Singer / Songwriters, include Gunnar Nelson and Matthew Nelson, twin sons of Rock'n'Roll Legend Ricky Nelson, of rock group Nelson whose pop/rock hits include "(Can't Live Without Your) Love and Affection", "After the Rain", and "More Than Ever"; Mark Slaughter of Slaughter whose penned hits include "Up All Night Sleep All Day" and "Fly to the Angels"; Kelly Keagy of Night Ranger whose rock hits include "Sister Christian", "Don't Tell Me You Love Me", and "You Can Still Rock In America"; and Eric Martin of MR. BIG whose hits include "To Be With You" and "Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little Boy". Keagy, Nelson and Slaughter are all local residents of Music City. This is Scrap Metal's second appearance at Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival, the fundraiser for the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI).
