LA (Launch) - Incubus is trekking across the country as part of Moby's Area:One festival, but a spokesperson has confirmed that the band will embark on headlining dates starting in mid-September. The tour is to drum up advance promotion for the band's October 23 release Morning View. Incubus has solidified four dates for the first leg of the tour so far. The band will play New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom on September 15, Boston's Avalon on September 18, Philadelphia's Electric Ballroom on September 21, and Lake Buena Vista (Florida)'s House Of Blues. Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd tells that performing live is still the highlight of the job. "Being on stage every night is the best part of the day for me. It's the part of the day where I feel the most me, I feel the most accomplished, I feel like I'm venting, I feel like I'm expressing, I'm creating," he says. "And, at the same time, there's like this strange symbiosis going on between us and the crowd, which is pretty incredible."
