LOS ANGELES (Lifehouse Fans Website) - Lifehouse hits the road Wednesday (July 3) in San Diego for a series of summer shows that will offer fans a preview of songs from the Los Angeles trio's second album, Stanley Climbfall, due September 17 from DreamWorks Records. The group has 25 shows currently on the itinerary, many of which are part of state and county fairs.

Lifehouse frontman Jason Wade tells that while the band is excited about debuting its new songs, cuts from its 2000 debut album, No Name Face, will not be ignored.

"We're gonna be playing probably have of this record and half of the last record," he says. "We're so sick of some of the songs on the last record that we have to. Actually, we're playing three-quarters of the last record. So, we're not gonna, like, not play the singles or anything."

Wade also admits that there's some jitters involved in returning to the road after such a long layoff. "We haven't played really for a long time so I always get a little nervous going back into it but, you know, once you tour for a year-and-a-half it starts to wear off a little bit.

Stanley Climbfall was recorded in Los Angeles during the first half of 2001 with producer Ron Aniello and engineer Brendan O'Brien; both also worked with the band on No Name Face. The new release features the first single, "Spin."
