NEW YORK,NY. (Top 40 Charts/ Loud PR) - Forget MySpace, Facebook or YouTube, as hip-hop heads finally have an online community to call their own with the launch of the legendary www.loud.com site, a joint venture with SRC Records and Pure Games. The site is a joint venture spearheaded by entrepreneur Joseph Safina with SRC's legendary hip-hop entrepreneur Steve Rifkind and his longtime partner, Fuerte Group's Rich Isaacson.

The Loud.com site will be the site of a competition open to the public to find the next great hip-hop MC/DJ, competing for $100,000 in cash and a record deal with SRC Records, home of superstars Akon and David Banner, among others.

Participants can download beats from celebrity producers, record their tracks using the online Loud studio, layer hip-hop overdubs and then upload the results to the site, competing with other users. Contestants can join the game at any time for just 99 cents a downloaded track, with finalists chosen weekly.

Some of hip-hop's biggest producers will judge the contest, including multi-platinum recording artist David Banner, the southern rapper whose Top 10 album Mississippi: The Album, went platinum, along with DJ Green Lantern, Eminem's DJ and producer of Jadakiss' hit single, 'Number One Spot,' and Sha Money, who produced several hit records for 50 Cent. Other participating judges involved are Cool & Dre, Zukhan Bey, DJ Khalid, Black Out, Teflon, SWIFT, Al Kapone, Buc Wild and leading reggaeton artist SPK.

Commented SRC's Rifkind, who revolutionized rap grass-roots marketing with his patented Street Teams in the early '90s: 'The key to the success of Loud.com is the producers and we have the best of the best. Loud.com is the only place where everyone has access to the cream of the crop of rap producers. Some of these guys get $75k-100k a track, while our contestants can have them for less than a dollar, with a shot at winning $100k and a record deal.'

Loud.com puts the user at center stage, providing them with professional 'beats' from leading hip-hop artists along with powerful online editing tools allowing them to create their own raps in a spirited worldwide competition. Each rap will be judged by a panel of leading hip-hop producers, who will pick the contestants for a Rap Showdown final, where the winner will receive $100k in cash and a recording deal with SRC Records, distributed through Universal Motown.

A recent Loud.com live radio tour featured stars such as Slim Thug and David Banner. Said Slim Thug: 'I wish something like this was available when I first started out. Using these tools, anyone can take their talent and turn it into tangible results. It's absolutely the last word.'

Located at www.loud.com, Loud.com includes original beats by top hip-hop producers, educational forums on how to make demos, engineering and production tips, ringtone creation, bulletin boards, a real-time data base, chat rooms and a comprehensive grass-roots marketing program which includes posters, flyers, T-shirts, hats and other gift items.

Loud.com is a one-stop shop for all you need to know to become a superstar hip-hop DJ, MC, producer or artist, and to meet those with similar interests.
