BOSTON, MA. (Top40 Charts/ Exceptional Women Awards) - MAGIC 106.7 FM is pleased to announce details of the 10th Annual Exceptional Women Awards presented by Home Goods. The event will take place on Friday, May 11th from noon- 2pm at the Westin/Copley Place in Boston.

Beloved pop icon and television personality Donny Osmond will open the event by performing songs from his latest release, 'Love Songs of the 70's.'

Pop icon and Grammy winner Jackie DeShannon, a 2001 Exceptional Women Lifetime Achievement honoree, will be also returning to the event to perform her big hit, 'Put A Little Love in your Heart,' the official theme for this year's event. In 1964, she was hand picked by the Beatles to open for them on their first American tour.

In addition, 2001 Exceptional Women Performing Arts Award winner and 2001 Grammy nominee Sophie B. Hawkins will sing her hit, 'As I Lay Me Down,' which is hailed as the longest running single in the history of any Billboard chart.

Award winning composer and Boston Pops keyboardist Brad Hatfield will accompany the performers.

Proceeds from the 10th Annual Exceptional Women Awards will benefit the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
