Newport, RI. (Top40 Charts/ Newportmusic Official Website) - Wimco Villas, the Newport, RI, villa rental and hotel reservations company, is having a love affair with one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

"What's not to love? Italy makes it so easy for us to please our clients. Our villa rental bookings in Italy are up 25 percent over this time last year," reports Stiles Bennet, Wimco's Director of Marketing.

So, in a grand gesture that would make any Italian lover proud, Wimco is honoring its friendship with Italy by sponsoring a portion of the world-class Newport Music Festival 2007 celebrating its 39th season of chamber music from now through July 22 in Newport, RI.

Wimco's program will be a featured evening performance at 9 pm July 20th at Rosecliff, one of the fabled "Gilded Age" summer cottages in this seaside town.

Performing at Rosecliff will be the dynamic Italian cellist Luigi Piovano and his 14-year-old nephew, pianist Niccolo Cantagallo, who is making his American debut at this event.

The setting is a Stanford White rendition of Grand Trianon, the garden retreat of French kings at Versailles, and built in 1902 at an estimated $2.5 million (equivalent to $30 million in today's dollars).

In all the Festival will present 67 concerts (three to five per day) in the famous Newport Mansions with American and international artists. Morning concerts are at 11 am, afternoons usually at 4 pm or 6 pm and evenings at The Breakers, the queen of the Newport Mansions, at 9 pm.

The afternoon "Victor Borge Series" highlights the favorite concerts of Festival director Mark Malkovich from 1990-2006 in a series of 17 "Best of the Festival" concerts. Six midnight concerts feature intermission-free works with champagne receptions preceding. The Yamaha Corporation of America, Lufthansa, Roederer Champagne, Your New England Toyota Dealers and Boisset America are the major Festival sponsors.

The Festival was again selected for "America's Elite 1000-the Ultimate List," the very best American luxury goods, shops, services and special events; it was also named one of the "Top 50 Outstanding Festivals & Events" in North America by Leisure Group Travel magazine.
