NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Universal Music Enterprises) - The world's best selling multi-artist album series, "NOW That's What I Call Music!," stakes its claim as the latest release, "NOW That's What I Call Music! Vol. 25," takes the No 1 position on the Billboard TOP 200 charts. Debuting at the top of the chart for the thirteenth time in the series' history and scanning over 222,000 units, the NOW brand continues to show its longevity and strength from release to release as illustrated with this year's last release (NOW 25) which shipped more than 1.1 million units (platinum).

"Selling physical or digital compilations can be a challenge with the numerous a la carte opportunities in the market place today; however, the consumers and our retail partners continue to see the value which is apparent with a No 1 debut and on-going support," says Mike Davis, EVP and General Manager of Universal Music Enterprises.

"NOW That's What I Call Music! Vol. 25" features current chart favorites from superstar artists like Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, T-Pain, Beyonce and Shakira, Fergie, Pink, Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani and Kelly Clarkson. Also included are huge hits from hot newcomers like Huey, Boys Like Girls, Lloyd, Mims and Elliot Yamin.

The "NOW That's What I Call Music!" series debuted in the United States in 1998 after the NOW brand had been an enormous, multi-platinum international success for nearly 20 years, with some 67 volumes released internationally. To date, the NOW series has generated sales of over 148 million albums worldwide, and has sold over 63 million copies in the United States since its debut. Every album in the NOW series has reached the Billboard Top 10, and it is the only non-soundtrack, multi-artist collection to reach No 1 Billboard status on the Billboard Top 200 Album Sales Chart.
