SOUTHAMPTON, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Diabetes Research Institute Foundation) - To accommodate an overwhelming response, the location for An Evening Under the Stars, featuring a private performance by legendary artist and superstar Diana Ross and benefiting the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI), will change to Stony Brook Southampton, formerly Southampton College, located at 239 Montauk Highway. The new venue for the Hamptons event will be able to accommodate nearly double the capacity of the original location, the Quogue home of hosts and underwriters, Jill Viner and Cliff Viner. The college campus' unencumbered grounds presents Miami-based event virtuoso Barton G.- the conceiver, designer and producer of the evening - with a blank canvas on which to create an elegant, intimate and tailored supper club setting for 500 guests.

"I am thrilled about the tremendous response we've received for this event and the outpouring of support for the Diabetes Research Institute. We'll be able to go bigger and better in the new space, enabling us to raise considerably more funds for the cure-focused work of the DRI," enthused Jill Viner, a member of the DRI Foundation's National Board of Directors.

The stellar evening, an unparalleled close to the Hamptons summer season, will take place in a compelling tented environment created by Barton G. that will reflect a sublime spectrum of organic hues as an intriguing background for the event's stars - Barton G's. signature culinary fusion of the sublime with the whimsical and the Diana Ross concert.

"Producing An Evening Under the Stars at Stony Brook Southampton will enable the Barton G. team to create a truly exceptional experience, one without some of the logistical restrictions that would have cramped our style a bit at the Viners'," noted Barton G. Weiss, the founder and president of Barton G.

"We couldn't be more pleased with the efforts of Jill and Cliff Viner and Barton G. on behalf of the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation. The increased capacity translates to additional support for our life-saving mission," said Robert A. Pearlman, president and CEO of the DRI Foundation. "They are all remarkable individuals."
