San Jose, CA. (Top 40 Charts/ San Jose Symphonic Choir) - The world-famous folk singer from the 1960's, founder and lead singer of the Limelighters, singer of the hit song, "Baby, the Rain Must Fall," the voice of the Hobbit, and over 70 albums, will be appearing in "The Forgotten Carols" with the San Jose Symphonic Choir with Conductor Leroy Kromm at St. Joseph's Cathedral Basilica in downtown San Jose at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 6 and Saturday, December 8, 2007. Tickets are on sales now and can be purchased on the Glenn Yarbrough website at https://www.glennyarbrough.com/San-Jose-Concert.htm for $35.00 each.

Every December for the past ten years or so, Glenn Yarbrough puts aside his guitar and narrates "The Forgotten Carols" by Michael McLean, the story of a pragmatic nurse and an aging gentleman she is caring for during the holidays, interwoven with music and songs. This touching story will make you laugh and make you cry, and in the end, will raise your spirits. Glenn's warm, distinctive voice brings to life "forgotten" characters of the Christmas story.
All the net proceeds from the two performances will benefit the San Jose Symphonic Choir.
