Lac du Flambeau, WI. (Top40 Charts/ Lake of the Torches Resort Casino) - Legendary pop icon
David Cassidy will perform at Lake of the Torches Resort Casino on Saturday, February 16. Tickets are $35 and $45 for one 8 p.m. performance.
Cassidy endeared himself to a generation of youth when he starred in The Partridge Family, the ABC show based on a fictional family band that toured the nation and costarred Shirley Jones and Donny Bonaduce. The show launched Cassidy to No 1 on the Billboard charts with the classic "I Think I Love You."
He became an overnight teen sensation and spent the next few years performing on the show and contributing to the other Partridge Family classic "C'mon, Get Happy." Over the next five years, his official fans club would grow to become the largest in the world, exceeding that of Elvis Presley and The Beatles.
During a successful solo career that followed, Cassidy hit the charts with "Doesn't Somebody Want to be Wanted," "I Woke Up in Love This Morning," "Cherish" and "Rock Me Baby." As part of his show at Lake of the Torches Resort Casino, Cassidy will perform these hits and many, many more.
"This will be a spectacular night for anybody wanting to relive the classics of the 1970s," said Lake of the Torches' Director of Marketing Michael J. Broderick.
