SAN FRANCISCO, CA. (Top 40 Charts/ IODA) - IODA, the global leader in digital distribution, marketing, and technology solutions for the independent music industry, today announced that seven new independent distributors have selected IODA's D3 platform to power digital distribution for their labels. These leading music distributors from Europe, Australia and the U.S. will now offer their clients virtual shelf space at the more than 350 digital retailers, mobile outlets and subscription services that make up IODA's global distribution network. With more than 40 distributors now using IODA's D3 platform, the company's catalog of over one million tracks continues to grow, adding more quality music from emerging independent labels and artists from across the globe.

IODA's D3 platform provides an easy, fast and low cost solution for these physical distributor partners to offer comprehensive digital services to their labels. Distributors enjoy the benefits of a custom branded implementation of IODA's unique Rightsholder Dashboard tools and proven distribution platform while maintaining their direct label relationships: all licensing, encoding and delivery, and accounting functions are managed by IODA on behalf of the distributor. In addition to distribution, IODA will help its new partners drive online and offline sales via Promonet, the company's groundbreaking digital marketing platform.

'IODA is a technology company, not just a digital distributor. This makes a big difference as it enables them to simultaneously offer the strongest technology platform for marketing and distribution while leveraging deep industry relationships and music industry experience,' said Tommy Couch Jr, general manager, Malaco Records. 'I don't know of any other company that brings these two very important assets together to help companies like Malaco grow in the digital world."

'Our partnership with IODA for worldwide digital distribution is our most important endeavor since we built the Tesco Distribution Service,' commented Joachim Kohl, co-founder, Tesco. 'Not only will IODA help our artists become more accessible to fans, its PromonetPro marketing services will help us easily and cost effectively promote new releases. With IODA's Rightsholder Dashboard, we'll be able to analyze interest among fans in the sold out and rare releases we plan to make available again, helping us manufacture according to audience interest.'

'Although we just started working with IODA recently, the platform looks like it will make digital distribution an easy to manage extension of our business,' said Jordan Cooper, president, Rev Distribution. 'Rev Distribution's labels have a large catalog of punk, hardcore, indie, rock, emo and metal that has a growing fan base around the world: We look forward to working with IODA to reach these fans wherever they are, and however they choose to buy music.'
