Minnesot (Reuters) - LeAnn Rimes
was originally scheduled to close this weekend's three-day We Fest in Detroit
Lakes, Minnesota, but pulled out of the gig in May. Rimes's reason for canceling one of the few concerts on the books this year was to concentrate to working on a new album, according to reports.
Rimes is said to be recording her next album "at her own pace," and her label has nothing scheduled for her in terms of release dates at this time, according to a spokesperson for Curb Records. Rimes has just two dates on the books for the remainder of this year--October 11 at the Arizona State Fair and October 13 at the Texas State Fair.
