WHASINGTON, DC (Steve Wariner Official Website) - Steve Wariner, Lee Ann Womack and Roy Clark are representing country music at the 2002 Christmas Pageant of Peace opening concert in Washington, D.C., on Dec. 5.
Wariner will perform his new single, “This Christmas Prayer,” during the concert on the the Ellipse near the White House.

Immediately following Wariner’s performance, President Bush will officially light the national Christmas tree.
Actress Barbara Eden hosts the event that also features Mannheim Steamroller, the World Children’s Choir, opera Hei-Kyung Hong and the U.S. Air Force Concert Band. Clark will appear as Santa Claus.
