John Fogerty is, perhaps, best known for his years with Creedence Clearwater Revival. The Rock n' Roll Hall of Famer will rock Portland with his classic hits, as well as songs from his most recent, Grammy-nominated album, "Revival". Some of Fogerty's most famous songs include "Proud Mary," "Centerfield", "Bad Moon Rising," "Who'll Stop The Rain", "The Old Man Down the Road" and "Fortunate Son".
Baystock 2008 will also feature several of Portland's best-loved bands. Already scheduled to appear are "As Fast As" and "Gypsy Trailwind".
All proceeds from Baystock 2008 will benefit PROP. People's Regional Opportunity Program (PROP) is a non-profit, multi-service, community action agency committed to identifying and addressing the societal, economic, educational, and health issues that exist in Maine. Last year, more than 12,000 people in Cumberland and York County benefitted from PROP's programs and services.
Gates for Baystock open at 5 p.m. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. A Beer Garden, next to the stage, will be open to those aged 21 and older.
