TORONTO, Canada (Murderdolls Fans Website) - Murderdolls formed when two guitarists met while their bands toured together during the 1999 Ozzfest. The Slipknot and Static-X members have since recorded and released "Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls," their debut CD.
The band came through Toronto recently and singer Wednesday 13 explained that he wasn't sure what to expect from being in a band with the drummer from Slipknot.
"The cool thing about when I met Joey was that I wasn't a Slipknot fan, I knew of the band obviously, but I was still into the same stuff that I liked. I didn't know much about them, so the whole time I was thinking the Slipknot fans are going to hate us," said Wednesday 13.

But the Slipknot fans didn't hate them, "Every night we'd play they (the fans) would come in of course with the intention of seeing Joey from Slipknot but when they leave they're buying Murderdolls T-shirts and they totally embrace the band." Wednesday 13 continued, "I think once you see us live and you hear the album you can understand that it's not just some one-off side project thing. It's a real band and we put on a great show, and the kids totally embrace us and it's not just about Joey or the Slipknot thing it's that they understand us as a band."
