Dr. Denis Leary (the Ph.D bestowed upon him by his alma mater Emerson College) has a book coming out on Nov 18th called "Why We Suck: A Feel Good Guide to Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy and Stupid." Snarky, smart, furious (keep commas in lists before "ands" consistent one way or the other) and funny-this book not only tells you why we suck, but offers up helpful opinions and easy tips to aid us all in sucking less. In his long and varied movie career, Denis has starred in the Oscar-nominated box office hits Wag the Dog, A Bug's Life, Ice Age and The Thomas Crown Affair, as well as audience favorites Suicide Kings and Ice Age 2 - The Meltdown. His first big project, The REF, has become a Christmastime cult classic. Denis has been nominated for a Golden Globe and several Emmys, including Outstanding Supporting Actor for his role in Recount and Outstanding Lead Actor and Best Writing for his critically acclaimed hit series Rescue Me, which he also co-produces. Denis has also garnered praise for his successful one-man shows No Cure For Cancer and Lock n' Load.
