NEW YORK (Kansas Official/AOL Website) - Kansas' double live CD 'Device Voice Drum' on Compendia Music Group will be featured in America Online's Listening Party section starting December 16, 2002, and ending January 16, 2003. To access music from 'Device Voice Drum' on AOL during this time period, go to keyword: LISTENING PARTY

The 'Device Voice Drum' CD is the companion to the critically acclaimed, best-selling DVD from America's finest progressive hard-rock band. Both the DVD and CD are available through Compendia Music Group. The 'Device Voice Drum' CD features a bonus multimedia video track, "Distant Vision," not included on the DVD.

Vocalist/keyboardist Steve Walsh, vocalist/violinist Robby Steinhardt, guitarist Richard Williams, bass guitarist/vocalist Billy Greer and drummer Phil Ehart filmed and recorded a concert at Earthlink Live in Atlanta, GA, on June 15, 2002, staged specifically for the 'Device Voice Drum' DVD and CD.

Featured songs include a mix of Kansas' biggest hits such as "Carry on Wayward Son," "Dust in the Wind" and "Point of Know Return" as well as die-hard fan favorites like "Journey from Mariabronn," "Cheyenne Anthem" and "Child of Innocence." The rarely performed track "The Preacher" features the vocal talents of 60 members of Atlanta's New Advent Choir.

Kansas will begin a major tour with Styx and John Waite starting in January 2003.
