New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - On Friday, November 7, Kathleen Edwards and John Doe will play the WFUV Live at Zankel series at Carnegie Hall. The show will feature "melodic, guitar-driven rock" (Wall Street Journal, 2.29.08) off of Kathleen's latest LP, 'Asking for Flowers' (Zoe/ Rounder). Edwards and Doe proved to be a dynamic duo when they collaborated for the duet "The Golden State" on Doe's 2007 album 'A Year in the Wilderness' (Yep Roc), and will tour together nationally this November.

Kathleen's rootsy, Americana-folk brand of music (not to mention her inspiring onstage energy) has charmed audiences and critics alike. USA Today hailed 'Asking for Flowers' as Kathleen's "third and best album" (3.4.08) and Rolling Stone praised the release, calling it "Poignant...fierce...Deserves to outlive all the on the current country countdown..." (3.6.08).

WFUV Live at Zankel is presented in partnership with Carnegie Hall and WFUV, 90.7 FM. The series celebrates the art of singer-songwriters and highlights the eclectic nature of modern folk music. WFUV's Music Director, Rita Houston, curates the series with Carnegie Hall and serves as host for the concerts.

WHEN: Friday, November 7
WHERE: Carnegie Hall, Zankel Hall, 881 Seventh Avenue, New York NY
TIME: 8:30 pm
COST: $38 - $44 ( https://www.carnegiehall.org/ )
