Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Big Machine Records) - Big Machine/No Strings Attached/Midas recording artist Adam Gregory has plenty of reasons to celebrate this holiday season, thanks to a breakthrough banner year in 2008.

The rising star's latest single, "What It Takes," recently charted and continues its strong push up the charts, gaining momentum and spins each week. The video was added to the rotation at both GAC and CMT Pure, and the Dec. 29 issue of Country Weekly magazine will feature an exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of the video.

"What It Takes" is the second U.S. single for the native Canadian Gregory, who has visited nearly every state in the country this year during his nine-month radio tour. His debut single, "Crazy Days," was a Top 40 success over the summer, leading to a series of prominent partnerships, including a promotion and distribution deal with Big Machine Records, a booking agreement with the William Morris Agency and a promotional partnership with Cricket Communications, Inc.

"Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I could have had as much fun and accomplish as much as I did this year," says Gregory. "I've met so many great people along the way, and I feel truly blessed to be able to make music for a living and play for such wonderful fans across the country."

The 23-year-old marked a series of firsts in his career in 2008, with performances at the CMA Music Festival and appearances on the red carpet at both the CMA Awards in Nashville and the ACM Awards in Las Vegas. He performed on three different occasions at the legendary Grand Ole Opry and served as a co-presenter with Jimmy Wayne at Canada's CCMA Awards in Winnipeg in September.

Just this month, Gregory was spotlighted in an online segment for AOL's live concert series, 'The Boot', featured in an episode of CMT Canada's '4 Tracks', and appeared in Yallwire.com's Y'allWire Presents video series. His debut album is due out in both the U.S. and Canada in early 2009.
