STOCKHOLM, Sweden (Hives Official Website) - The Swedish government recognized the success of their native sons, The Hives, with a "Musical Export" award at the Swedish version of The Grammy Awards last week.

According to a government official, the sharp-dressed rockers were given the award for "the directness of their music, tremendous stylistic feeling and rock 'n' roll attitude."
Previous winners include The Cardigans and Roxette.
