NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Sunset Urban Records) - Dubbed the 'Live 09 Hip Hop & R&B Concert', this one-night only concert on April 8 features some of the best freestyle rappers in the Bronx - Capt. Crunk, Hardkore, Da Black Pope, B.L.O. and Da Orlock - performing back to back after one another to deliver their freestyle style of live music to New York City hip hop fans.

Multi faceted and the Sunset Urban recording artist Capt. Crunk, known for his real life style of rap and for his freestyle of rap is a favorite for live performances. 'Crunk always thrives playing live giving people a great night of hip-hop music,' says Don Lichterman, the head of Sunset Urban, 'he is made for the live stage and no doubt will he play some of his more popular songs such as 'Club Crunk', 'Haunted Thoughts', 'Gunz & Drugz', 'Lost Souls' and then now, there is so much more material to play now that we are releasing his Freestyle Crunk CD today.' Capt. Crunk will no doubt give these fans a serious set of rap music.

Performing with Capt Crunk is some of the local favorite hip hop acts and the show is hosted by none other than Knowledge. Capt. Crunk first turned heads in the music industry last year by showing up on Grammy Nomination Ballet in 2008 many times for the award show this year. His debut, It's A Hell Of A Drug' gained critical acclaim last year and at the same time, turned heads last year with its controversial cover artwork when the CD was refused to be stocked at the major retail chain, Target. His new freestyle original 'Speed Crunk' is being added to hardcore urban radio stations around the world. Expect many freestyle songs along with original songs from the debut studio CD.

Catch these sensational rap and hip-hop styled artists perform for one night only at the 'Live 09 Hip Hop & R&B Concert' at the Karma Theater on April 8 at 8:00 p.m. It's the first time playing together this year, and with all the hype surrounding the show, it's truly going to be a must-see concert in downtown Manhattan!
