New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Indiegrrl Women In The Arts) - The 2009 Indiegrrl Conference is showcasing over 100 female artists on 5 stages and also more intimate guerrilla showcase rooms. The conference will take place in music city Nashville, TN on August 20 to 23 at Hotel Preston on Briley Parkway and will not only showcase some of the top performing members of the Indiegrrl organization but will also showcase line ups from Tryxo Entertainment, MPress Records, Rockin' Moms, Nette Radio, Promo Productions, The Writer's Block, Women's Radio, Texas Women, and more. Men are welcome to attend the conference and take part in all the workshops and panel discussions.

Registration to attend the many workshops and panel discussions including The Pitch A Song room where industry professionals listen to songs for placement, visit the conference page on the Indiegrrl website at https://www.indiegrrl.com. Both women and men who take their independent music careers seriously are encouraged to register to attend. Advance registration before July 15 is only $100. After July 15 the walk up rate of $175 applies.

Indiegrrl Women in the Arts, Inc. is a non profit organization with a mission to create educational, networking, and showcasing opportunities for women in the independent music, spoken word, comedy industries and more. With over 1300 networking members Indiegrrl is one of the largest and oldest groups supporting women in the entertainment industry. Each year Indiegrrl produces an annual conference geared toward creating educational workshops and panel discussions with top music industry professionals to enhance entrepreneurial development to aid independent artists in creating and maintaining a successful career. The conference is a huge networking experience with artists both women and men attending from around the world. An exhibit hall trade show of vendors is also a part of the conference. The showcase stage areas and the exhibit hall are open to the general public for free so that as many people as possible can view the talented line up of women musicians and singer songwriters and check out many industry related vendors displaying and selling their product in the trade show.
