The rockin' country music road warriors will kick July into high gear as honorary 'leaders of the pack' riding alongside Jason Meadows ("100% Cowboy") on Saturday, July 4, paving the roadways for the more than 200 motorcycle enthusiasts expected to join the 'Hogs & Frogs Harley Ride.' The road trip will begin at 10:00AM, departing from the Black Diamond dealership in Marion, and wind its way to Murray, Kentucky (home of Froggy Fest 2009-the annual concert and fireworks celebration-at Murray State University's Roy Stewart Stadium presented by Froggy/WFGS-103.7FM).
'This holiday weekend is going to rock and roll,' said Derek Wylie, lead singer of the River County trio. 'Not only will we be celebrating our great country with thousands at Froggy Fest, we get to rev it up atop iron horses from our friends at Black Diamond Harley Davidson. Combine that with our high octane brand of country music and you've got one helluva, motorin' good time!'
The Holley�Guidry Presents Black Diamond Harley Davidson Dealership's 'Hogs & Frogs Black Friday Concert' will begin at 6:00PM at the Black Diamond Dealership (located at 2400 Williamson County Parkway, Marion, IL). River County will take the stage to perform rollicking hits from their nationally released debut CD ROCKING THE COUNTRY including the loud and rowdy title track and their sophomore single, the fun-loving and satirical 'We're All Here.' Country music fans and bikers alike will clamor for their spot on the outdoor parking lot dance floor as they vie for a chance to learn the tune's accompanying line dance-the River County Stomp. Steve Richard (Force MP Entertainment) will also perform as part of the free concert event.
The Holley�Guidry Presents Black Diamond Harley Davidson Dealership's 'Hogs & Frogs Harley Ride' will follow on Saturday, July 4.
