NEW YORK (Metallica Fans Website) - It's strange but true. The U.S. Military is using Metallica's music to break the resistance of uncooperative prisoners of war in Iraq.
Newsweek reports that 'Enter Sandman', Drowning Pool's 'Bodies' and the theme from Barney The Dinosaur are helping the military acquire information. One Sergeant told the magazine that the Iraqi's have never heard heavy metal music before and they can't take it. As for Barney that's a no brainer.

Sergeant Mark Hadsell told Newsweek, "If you play it [offensive music] for 24 hours, your brain and body functions start to slide, your train of!
