LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Warner Bros. Records) - This year, Warner Bros. Records teamed up with Beluga Heights and celebrates an instantly successful joint venture, with the launch of two groundbreaking artists who have both reached No 1 on the Billboard charts within weeks and have taken on pop music by storm. Miami native, 20 year old pop star, Jason Derulo quickly soared to No 1 on Billboard Hot 100 last month with his debut hit single 'Whatcha Say.' Following quickly behind, Island pop star Iyaz hailing from the Virgin Islands took the No 1 spot on the Billboard top 40 charts just this week.

Both artists are becoming national pop sensations. Jason Derulo gears up to join Lady Gaga on the Monster Ball tour. Iyaz celebrates his pop radio success with a nationwide radio tour and is next up in the "Island/Pop" genre that Beluga Heights coined with the success of the label's premiere artist Sean Kingston.

With an undeniable ear for superstar talent, super producer JR Rotem the founder of Beluga Heights, and Kara DioGuardi, American Idol judge and Warner Bros. Records Senior Vice President of A&R, signed Derulo to Beluga Heights /Warner Bros. Records as the flagship artist. The first single 'Whatcha Say,' has already taken the No 1 spot on Billboard's HOT 100, and sat at No 1 on Billboard's Top 40 until Beluga Heights/ Warner Bros. Records sophomore artist Iyaz's debut single 'Replay' stole the spot this week, jumping from No 5 to No 1. 'Whatcha Say' has sold more than 2 million singles and is certified double platinum in digital sales by RIAA, while 'Replay' follows close behind with nearly 1.5 million singles sold. 'Replay' is currently No 3 on both the iTunes top 100 and iTunes top 10 pop song charts. Rotem has produced over 300 records worldwide while launching his label Beluga Heights and in just three short years Beluga Heights has introduced many superstar artists to the world and has created its own signature formula of breaking new artists with instant smash singles that go straight to number one within weeks of a debut single release. (Sean Kingston 'Beautiful Girls," Jason Derulo 'Whatcha Say' and Iyaz 'Replay). Rotem takes pride in producing his own artists' entire debut albums and carves their own seamless sound. Rotem said 'We feel overwhelmingly blessed for the simultaneous success of Jason and Iyaz. In our experience, this type of success is only possible through faith, positivity, hard work and a collaborative team effort. In this case the synergy Beluga Heights shares with Warner Bros./Reprise is that type of special collaboration.'

Rotem, a multi platinum producer, songwriter, composer and pianist, with manager/partner Zach Katz and brother Tommy Rotem launched Beluga Heights in 2007. Being one of the most versatile producers in music, Rotem has worked with everyone from Rihanna, Britney Spears, Leona Lewis, Usher and Natasha Bedingfield to 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, The Game, Rick Ross, Plies and Sean Kingston, whom he discovered and cultivated into an international pop star.
