New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Rising Empire Investments) - Emerging from beneath the rap rubble, a hip-hop trio emerges, with poise and dignity. Not just your ordinary hip-hop divas, these three independent, articulate, and strong minded women have a message. The message: 'We realize that there is a void in the industry for female rappers. We want to fill that void.' The single, produced by Brad Young and Orlando Rowe, and Executive Produced by Conrad Collins, Rising Empire Investments, Inc. (on independent), entitled 'Dollas' is already being rotated in several markets and can be found on Mediabase reports. Look for June Fifth as they promote their triumphant single and span the globe in search of that right record label relationship.

Already preparing themselves to stack up on hip hop awards, June Fifth is nominated for a Traffic Music Award at the annual awards show on March 7, 2010, to be held at The Ambassador, 9800 Halls Ferry Rd., St Louis, MO. Their 'Herstory' album release party, will follow immediately thereafter at the Blac Label Gallery Lounge, 758 S. Fourth St., St Louis, MO, 63102.

In an industry where women fight to have their voices heard and their own spot in the limelight, three women have chosen to take that industry by storm and bring their movement to the masses. Through the fusion of what they deem a mixture of "street and couture," June 5th is that spark the industry has been waiting for. Classifying their music as "Street-Couture" and hailing from the true Gateway to the West, St Louis, Missouri; Tiffany Foxx, Scar Ladon, and Brooke Holladay possess more than just pretty faces. They are an all female arsenal ready to be reckoned with.

"When we first came together we met because we were all in the business," states member Tiffany Foxx. "Through conversation we realized a void in the industry for female rappers and decided to do something about it. So we joined forces and became June 5th. Then we connected with Rising Empire and released our first single."

Who is June Fifth? Named after the day they feel they gained their independence, liberation, and became one, June 5th's all about the empowerment of the female gender. Through lyrical abilities that teeter between being the voice of the 2009 female and that's reminiscent of Hip Hop's past, when women MC's had something to say and people listened, they are truly bringing their experiences, presence, and powerful voices full circle. Being based out of a city known for producing Top 40 artists such as Nelly, The St. Lunatics, Chingy, and Baby Huey, these 3 women collectively look to bring a different type of shine to a city known for mainly breaking their male counterparts. "Being in St. Louis we have seen artist break on the major level," states Brooke Holladay. "So we know that it takes hard work and strong drive, which we all have."

Driven, inspired, and empowered by the unity of women in music, June 5th looks forward to being a breath of fresh air in today's music industry. As strong women staking their claim on Hip Hop, June 5th is out to carve their own niche and make their own lane. Already easily identified as being different and original due to their pop like sound and cutting edge style, they are still able to find an audience in hip hop while effectively tapping into other genres. This ability to mix in between genres and fan bases has attracted the attention of a number of industry insiders who are all anticipating the wrath of June 5th.

With their other single "Worst Day" featuring Snoop Dogg currently impacting radio and the internet, June 5th has already put their movement into motion. Relying on their dedication to making their movement felt and the need to empower all women, their mission is more than clear and obtainable. June 5th will perform with the Three-6-Mafia, on Ink Fest Live (fueled by Monster Energy) and are truly ICONIC!
