NEW YORK (WBGO Radio) - Omar Sosa's Octet performance on Friday, September 12 at Carnegie Hall's new Zankel Hall will be broadcast live at 10:00 PM by New York-area jazz radio station WBGO and recorded for later use on NPR's "JazzSet with Dee Dee Bridgewater", which is produced by WBGO. Sosa's concert marks the opening of Carnegie Hall's new technological wonder - an intimate, 650-seat auditorium blasted out of the bedrock in the heart of Manhattan, directly beneath the hall's main stage. WBGO is located at 88.3 on the FM dial. The live broadcast is also available at www.wbgo.org.
For a list of NPR stations carrying "JazzSet with Dee Dee Bridgewater", please visit www.jazzset.org.
