New Nork, NY (Top40 Charts/ Basic NYC) - New Yorkers Satoshi Tomiie and Hector Romero can more often than not be heard rocking international dancefloors weekend in and weekend out. But to catch the two of them together, playing their hometown on a Saturday night, is an exceedingly rare opportunity. The last time it happened was last October, and now almost a year later, the two SAW Recordings label heads will be returning to headline Sullivan Room this Saturday, September 18th. Expect cutting-edge music all night as these heavyweights show us what the SAW Recordings sound is all about.

It's been a typically jam-packed summer for Satoshi and Hector, with the duo traveling separately to all the corners of the globe, to rock dancefloors left and right. From Brazil to Colombia to Italy and Canada, Satoshi and Hector have been leaving crowds breathless at some of the world's finest nightclubs. Throughout their sets, they both skillfully cover a huge range of dance music territory, touching on everything from soulful, New York-styled house and vocals, to seriously twisted late-night dancefloor territory. This is a continuation of Satoshi's Basic NYC residency, where he played at the Sullivan Room consistently since his first-ever appearance in December of 2008.

This summer saw the release of Satoshi's latest mix CD, with him and Matthias Tanzmann both mixing a disc for Cavo Paradiso's new 'Definitions 10' compilation. Satoshi's mix was a typically expansive journey, taking in the deep electronic soul of Andre Lodemann, Matthias Meyer, Doomwork and Ben Watt. With a new studio up and running in NYC, expect plenty of new music from Satoshi coming down the pipeline.

Warming up for the SAW duo will be Basic NYC residents Sleepy & Boo. With summer winding down, S&B have a busy Fall season coming up, with a string of dynamic artists coming to Sullivan Room in the next few months. From the Detroit techno wizardy of Jeff Mills, to Germany's new deep/tech-house kingpin Nick Curly, Basic NYC will be presenting something for everyone week in and week out. On top of Sullivan Room, they'll be launching their own Sleepy & Boo + friends monthly party at Cielo on October 8th Opening up the party will be New Jersey's reyNiko, making his second Basic NYC guest appearance. Early arrivals on the night will get 2-for-1 drinks until 11pm, and limited edition SAW Recordings/Stussy WMC 2010 T-shirts for FREE.
