LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ fabric London Official Website) - 11 years in clubland is like 111 in human years. Even over the past 11 months, London's most famous and revered night spot Fabric has weathered more gut wrenching ups and downs than most venues do in their oft much shorter life times. A few short months ago, their future was uncertain after the club entered administration (following sister club Matter's default on a 3.2 million pound loan, which Fabric had guaranteed). What followed was a storm of rumors, untruths, and generally predictable clamor that would accompany a possible closing of this kind.

Just a few short weeks later however, it was revealed that the original founders Keith Reilly and Cameron Leslie had found a group of like-minded investors dedicated to the original vision of the club, a group that would allow them to maintain creative control. And so, the international clubbing community breathed a collective sigh of relief: things don't usually work out that well in this world.

A similar ordeal happened back in 2003, but just like this years drama, the superclub powered through, continuing to provide a world-class clubbing hub for all the thriving masses of revelers.

Rhythmism is sending our most heartfelt well-wishes to our brothers and sisters over at Fabric. We certainly wish we could be there this weekend, when all out madness will take over the club for a celebration befitting its name and reputation.

Saturday night (through till Monday morning) is set to recount some of the magic of the early 'On & On' parties. As fabric shakes, rattles and rolls around the clock in an extended thirty hour party jam, they'll be throwing the doors open for a dance marathon; inviting the whole of London's disco freaks and beyond to experience some of their favourite DJs at any time of the day (or night).

The line up is pitted with big names who'll be lining up alongside the emphatic selection of fabric residents, Craig Richards and Terry Francis. Returning only a couple of months after his last performance, Chilean master of the Room One soundsystem, Ricardo Villalobos will be in attendance, ready as he is to recall some of his sunlight flooding magic. Joining him will be Crosstown Rebels frontman/fabric 54 artist Damian Lazarus, who'll be swooping in to launch his hugely anticipated mix with rhythmical force and dazzling humour; transfixing the crowd with his mastery of sound manipulation.

Starting his career in the post Berlin Wall dance explosion, Innervisions owner Dixon will be spinning the DJ wheel, bringing his deep and innovative house label signing Ame for a special live performance, alongside Detroit's Ryan Crosson, whose debut release out later this year on the hotly tipped Visionquest has set music tongues wagging. Floating Points - one of 2010's breakout composers, whose Eglo label has been widely commended for pushing the boundaries of modern house and soul music - will perform alongside Trus' Me, Move D and French sensation dOP, who recently cut their teeth on Watergate06. Their live show defies expectation - mixing vocals, saxophone and keyboard along with electronic beats.

Lodged deep in the underground, Tyrant fans can lose their head and feet to the twisted beats and spacey atmospheres of Lee Burridge- whilst Levon Vincent, a DJ netted in the much-discussed revitalization of New York house with his own imprints, Novel Sound and Deconstruct Music will be undulating the floor with energetic flair. And for the icing on the cake- one of London's most intimate and hedonistic soires- Kubicle will be bringing its usual resident suspects to the helm, including Clive Henry, FB Julian, Lee Foss and Derren's Disco for a sultry afterhours nod to 80's glam chic, synthesizer jams and deviant disco beats to get you in the spirit of the 11th birthday extravaganza.
