New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Blue Note Records) - 'Great songwriters don't come around that often. Amos is an exceptional artist, a true story teller, unique to his generation.'
-Willie Nelson

"Amos Lee knows how to use his voice to tell a story with a hint of mystery."
-Lucinda Williams

Amos Lee has had an eventful past several weeks. Since announcing the January 25, 2011 release of his new Blue Note album Mission Bell, which was produced by Joey Burns of Calexico and features a remarkable set of guests including Lucinda Williams, Willie Nelson, and Sam Beam (Iron & Wine), the acclaimed singer-songwriter has captivated audiences at Austin's ACL Music Festival, as well as Farm Aid 25 in Milwaukee where the legendary Willie Nelson made a surprise guest appearance during Lee's set, joining him for a stunning duet performance of Lee's song 'El Camino.'

In a review of Farm Aid, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel marveled at 'a single man winning over an arena-size crowd with no more than a guitar and the force of his talent.' USA Today wrote that 'Lee hushed the stadium with a soulful, acoustic rendering,' adding that 'when Nelson showed, it proved to be the most moving duet.' Lee's soaring solo performance of 'Windows Are Rolled Down' was included in DIRECTV's Farm Aid telecast and can be seen here.

Musicians On Call (MOC) have announced that Lee will be performing at City Winery in New York on October 13 as part of their Month of Music series. The show, which will be headlined by the Grammy Award-winning trio Lady Antebellum, will benefit MOC, a nonprofit organization that brings live music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities. Lee has been a longtime supporter of the organization-he has volunteered with WXPN Musicians on Call in Philadelphia doing one-on-one bedside performances and played at the opening of new facilities. For more information visit www.musiciansoncall.org.

Lee will continue to tour throughout the Fall, including headlining dates as well as support dates for Dave Matthews Band. He will also be the featured performer on Levon Helm's intimate Midnight Ramble concert series in Woodstock, New York, on December 4. See below for a full list of tour dates.

Lee is currently offering a free mp3 download of Mission Bell's lead track 'El Camino' at https://amoslee.com/. He has also revealed the album's cover artwork, which draws from the vivid imagery in Lee's lyrics for 'El Camino.'
