New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - At a time when public education is the subject of considerable debate, several of the multi-instrumentalist musicians and music educators who make up Dream Jam World team (Francine, Barry G, Maestro C & Cori Chertoff) have developed an innovative teaching program, "All Access: Music as a Gateway to Multi-Disciplinary Learning," that uses music as a platform to enhance learning.

After a trial in several kindergarten classes in Port Chester, New York last year, the program has been implemented in four Port Chester elementary schools, across 15 kindergarten classes (JFK Magnet School (Early Learning Center (ELC), Edison School, King Street School, Park Avenue School). The program will help ensure increased participation and elevated comprehension for the 366 kindergartners in the district.

Says Frank Fanelli, Port Chester's school Asst superintendent for Educational Programs, Personnel and Grants of "All Access": "It has masterfully woven an engaging, multi-sensory experience to integrate deep connection with an astonishingly broad spectrum of district curriculum objectives: history, language arts, social studies, geography, science, math, environmental studies, and important social-emotional development benchmarks. It livens up a classroom with a spirit of wonder that captivates even the child who has, historically, been difficult to reach. I am looking forward to seeing the 'All Access' program implemented not only at kindergarten level, but expanded to K-12 in the years to come."

Says Cori Chertoff, Dream Jam World co-founder: We feel honored to be launching this new program at a time when the school is being recognized for it's standard of excellence as a Blue Ribbon School. Just last week, JFK Magnet School principal Lou Cuglietto joined one of our classes. He sat on the rug with the Kindergartners and participated in the entire 40-minute class. Afterwards, he praised the program and expressed his gratitude. He said there had clearly been a void that we have now filled! JFK is a model of excellence for visitors from all over the country and internationally."

Dream Jam World members Francine, Barry G and Maestro C along with multi-instrumentalist Erin the Red make up the popular family music group Dream Jam Band. Their recently released second album "Leave it in the Soup," was described by The New York Times as an "up-tempo set of songs that hint at influences as diverse as Led Zeppelin, Mozart and the Beatles" and praised by Parents, Scholastic Parent & Child and People Magazine among others. The foursome's eponymous first album was named to the Top Ten List of National Public Radio's best Children's and Family Albums, and won four Children's Web Awards, and their music, produced by award-winning songwriter and producer Rick Chertoff, has received extensive airplay on kids' programming across the USA.
