New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Vibration Institute Music) - Noted experimental and ambient label Vibration Institute Music is pleased to release their sixth full length release, Vibration Institute Orchestra's Live at Royal/T. The album is available for free online at https://www.vibrationinstitutemusic.com/music/. The Los Angeles Times Culture Monster blog covered the show at https://lat.ms/bWU5hp:
"Combining physical instruments and digital sonic manipulators, they conspired to create ever-morphing textural washes. In keeping with the ambient code, dissonance or tensions were generally kept to a minimum, and there were moments when airs of jam band aesthetics and post-Grateful Dead space-outs matriculated into the mix. But soon enough, the musical conversation moved elsewhere, through different emotional colors and group-think notions."

The Vibration Institute Orchestra is a collaboration including some of the most knowledgeable electronic musicians in Los Angeles, creative souls who have delved deeply into the science of electronic music and are now highly regarded experts in modern music software technologies.
For this second recording from the Vibration Institute Orchestra, the line up featured VI creative director, electronic musician and bassist John von Seggern (on fretless bass guitar here), Matt Piper on guitar, Laura Escude on violin and electronics and Steve Tavaglione on EWI and electronics. Piper also produced the recording.

Von Seggern has worked on sound design for film with composers Paul Haslinger and Thomas Newman (for the Pixar film Wall-E), as well as releasing several original albums of electronic music. He works at Native Instruments and has authored two books on software-based music production.

Escude is a noted Ableton Live expert and violinist; most recently she worked with the Cirque du Soleil as an Ableton programmer, toured Europe with world music band Niyaz, and was a tour consultant for Kanye West. She recently released her first solo album of electronic music, Pororoca, which was featured in Electronic Musician magazine.

Piper works for Line 6 as a specialist in Propellerheads' Reason software and has authored numerous books, articles and videos on using Reason for music creation.

Tavaglione is a longtime top call player in Hollywood and has brought his cutting edge knowledge of electronics to countless top films and TV shows including Wall-E, the Oceans films, various "CSI" shows, playing with everyone from Michael Jackson to Roger Waters to Michael Brecker and more.

The album was recorded as per its title at the popular Culver City arts mecca Royal/T. Royal/T is a playful collision of spaces-cafe/shop/art space-presented in stunning fusion. It is an eclectic mix of retail and contemporary art re-imagined in the surrounds of LA's first Japanese-style cosplay cafe.
