ABOUT THE ARTISTS

7:30PM Kyle Patrick (www.kylepatrickmusic.com )
A musician since the age of six, Kyle Patrick has mastered every instrument he could get his hands on. From acoustic and electric guitar to piano to percussion...he's played it. But the other instrument that stood out from all of the rest was his voice. Patrick was plucked from Boston's Berklee College of Music by Atlantic Records and became the frontman for the power pop group The Click Five in late 2006. Kyle has led the band to certified platinum sales, many awards and on a world tour covering three continents. Kyle has shared the stage with artists such as The Black Eyed Peas and Placebo. The band's third album hit stores in November 2010.

As far as his solo career, Patrick truly reveals the heart and soul of a talented multi-instrumentalist. On his latest album, KP, he has written, played and produced nearly every sound on the record. In addition to his electrifying stage presence, Kyle Patrick has attained unavoidable success.

8:00PM Angel Taylor (www.angeltayloronline.com )
Just as spectacular as the music, is the young woman who crafts it. The Southern California native never wanted a recording contract, but fate intervened, making Angel Taylor one of music's emerging voices for those of us who seeking substance amidst the overblown style of today's pop culture. Looking for nothing more than a way to record a few of her songs for family and friends as a Christmas gift, an unknowing email to producer Mikal Blue [Colbie Caillat, Brendan James] resulted in an invitation to his Revolver Studios for an impromptu audition. "I played two songs, 'Chai' and 'It's Easy,' and he said he wanted to work with me - I told him all I wanted to do was get my music on a CD, and asked him how long that was going to take, and he said, 'Oh no, I want to really work with you...'"

And in a manner of months, the soft-spoken and big-hearted Angel Taylor took her first plane trip (to visit record labels in New York), got her first cell phone, and after signing with Aware/Columbia Records, was able to move herself, her mother and two of her sisters into their first house. Not bad for a girl who never had any musical schooling, and only starting writing poetry because of her sister.

A passionate blend of youthful innocence, soulful essence and a spiritual center, Angel Taylor is every bit as wholesome and pure as her Love Travels debut, her longing for love and lust for life colored by dashes of hope. Don't count on that changing anytime soon.

8:30PM Tyler Hilton (www.tylerhilton.com )
Before Tyler Hilton wrote the songs that appear on his new album The Storms We Share he had never written anything but love songs. "It's not that I was uninterested in things other than love, but it was love that made me want to write songs," the 26-year-old singer, songwriter, and guitarist says. A huge fan of Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Robert Johnson, and Muddy Waters, Hilton spent several years performing at open mic nights and clubs, and playing blues and jazz covers for tips in coffeehouses and restaurants. "I did pretty well with the older clientele because they loved that stuff," Hilton says. "It wasn't until I signed with Maverick that young people even came to my shows.

Hilton moved to Los Angeles and released a self-titled independent album in 2000. He also indulged his other passion, acting, by appearing in The CW's One Tree Hill and USA's Charlie Bartlett, and playing Elvis Presley in the 2005 Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line. (Hilton's songs have been included on the Grammy Award-winning Walk the Line soundtrack and on all three of One Tree Hill's popular soundtracks.) Hilton signed with Maverick Records and released The Tracks Of Tyler Hilton in September 2004. "I wrote all those songs when I was still in high school," he says, "and I was very impressed that the songs I wrote while I was doing homework ended up being released on a major label. That was really exciting to me. I could have written those kinds of songs again, but I wanted to do better. And I think my new album is better."

Hilton has just completed his U.S. fall tour in which through out the day he performed at high schools across the country followed by club performances at night with his Warner Bros. Records labelmate Josiah Leming. The tour wrapped on November 17th 2010. Fans can look forward to his up and coming album The Storms We Share hitting stores early on in 2011 on Reprise Records.

9:00PM Katharine McPhee (www.katharinemcphee.com )
Katharine McPhee's career began with her well-known run on "American Idol". She has already enjoyed success with Christmas releases from her 2007 single "O Come All Ye Faithful" to 2009's "I'll Be Home For Christmas." She also has appeared on television many times around the Christmas season. From a Christmas In Washington special, performing for the First Family to the My Christmas concert starring Andrea Bocelli, McPhee has a very impressive resume. The new Christmas album was released by Verve Forecast on October 12, 2010 and is titled Christmas Is The Time...To Say I Love You.

The success of her first Christmas single, "I'll be home for Christmas" was the inspiration for the new album. "I've been blessed to share Christmas with my family and close friends. Life on the road has made me realize how many people spend Christmas alone. When visiting military hospitals or even meeting fellow travelers working during the holidays, it made me reflect on how hard it can be to celebrate anything when you're away from those you love. These experiences inspired me to write an original song for the album called 'It's Not Christmas Without You.'"

Allen Sides, one of the most respected engineer/producers in music, produced the album. Sides has won two Grammys as well as worked with Eric Clapton, Alanis Morrisette, Faith Hill, Mary J. Blige and More. Co-producer, Steven Miller, has previously worked with The Dave Mathews Band and Pink.
