New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Skip to the Lou) - Dynasty Hip-Hop Inc. Mentoring Program, the award winning program that provides a solution to violence surrounding youth, using a language and culture that young people understand; hip-hop. For the last 5 years Dynasty has made youth all over the bi- state area more productive members of society. Young people have come from far and wide to benefit from the program's incentives.
Whether it is the free recording studio time, the backstage access to concerts and entertainment events, the interaction with industry professionals, the radio exposure or just the mentoring and guidance received, youth have made positive changes in their lives, as well as resolved violent conflicts in exchange for the above benefits Dynasty gives them.
Dynasty also enlisted the help of hip-hop and entertainment industry partnering with Hot 104.1, V.I.P. Records, Anex Entertainment, DJ Drama, Young Jeezy, The Clear Channel's former 100.3 The Beat, The St. Louis Rams and the Grammy award winning multi-platinum artists, Nelly and the St. Lunatics' Derrty Ent. Derrty helped Dynasty further by allowing the youth a feature on St. Lunatic, Murphy Lee's classic, Age of 21. It is this example of community partnering that allowed Dynasty to help youth avoid gang conflicts, go back to school, and avoid incarceration.
Dynasty has had success in these youth environments; McCluer North High School, St. Louis County Library (Lewis and Clark), St. Louis Public Library (Julia Davis Branch), St. Louis Public Schools (G.E.D. School/Fresh Start) and currently partnering with 22nd Circuit Court Judge Jimmie Edwards through the ICA School, where the program is effect change in youth who belong to juvenile justice system.
It is with these great examples of how community partnerships can make a difference, Dynasty Hip-Hop Inc. Mentoring Program start its Getting Youth off the Streets with Hip-Hop campaign. This campaign will be brought to schools, neighborhoods, and youth environments. Dynasty has enlisted the help of many great organizations, to start with.
100 Black Men of Greater St. Louis- A long time partner with Dynasty, the 100 will be a outlet of mentoring for those youth who which to prepare for college, professionalism, and overall life skills.
Stlhiphop.com- Is the pulse of the St. Louis hip-hop community, and a great outlet for new artist in this region. It will provide youth who are involved with the program a chance to be heard by thousands, in addition to professional mentoring from its staff
The Trak Starz - The multi-platinum selling, Grammy award winning production team, consisting of Sham and Zo, have worked with such greats as Ludacris, Usher, Rihanna, and Britney Spears. They are offering the youth involved with this program access to their studio, and will place them in a position to be heard and be signed to a recording contract with artist the likes of whom they have worked with.
Dynasty's Youth Ambassadors- These youth have at onetime been involved with so called gang life, and violence, or have had family, or themselves being a victim of St. Louis' violent epidemic. They have accepted the responsibility to join this campaign in a effort to effect change to this great problem
