The last cycle of 'Introducing...' was stronger than ever with Atlantic Record's Bruno Mars becoming a mainstay on Top 40 radio and Fuse. This helped propel him to an impressive first week debut at No 3 with 55k units, making him the highest first week debut for any 'Introducing...' artist yet. Far East Movement burst onto the scene at the beginning of the 'Introducing...' content run. Their single, 'Like A G6' is still going strong on radio, helping them to land the No 1 position on the iTunes singles chart. Their debut album 'Free Wired' saw a No 24 debut with 17k copies sold. Both Bruno Mars and Far East Movement were guests on Fuse's new weekly show 'A Different Spin with Mark Hoppus,' and their singles were featured on the 'Fuse Top 20 Countdown.'

For the next eight weeks Myspace Music and Fuse are excited to highlight Cali Swag District, Rye Rye, Christina Perri and Young the Giant.

CALI SWAG DISTRICT Cali Swag District exploded onto the music scene and the radio airways this past summer with the Top 5 infectious hit "Teach Me How To Dougie" that pays homage to a dance created by legendary rapper Doug E. Fresh. Cali Swag District turned the song and dance into a pop culture phenomenon with everyone including Ellen DeGeneres, CNN 'Situation Room' host Wolf Blitzer, Wendy Williams, the cast on Glee, Monique, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, and Kim Kardashian getting their Dougie on. Even more widespread is the sports worlds' celebration of the Dougie movement. NBA Washington Wizard's rookie sensation John Wall did the Dougie during the starting lineup this season that has received almost 2 million YouTube streams. The "Teach Me How To Dougie" official music video has generated over 20 million YouTube streams. Cali Swag District's debut album, The KickBack will be in stores February 15, 2011. RYE RYE In her 19 years, dance-rap dynamo Rye Rye has lived more than most. Pulling herself up and out of the Baltimore projects by her own determination, M.I.A. discovered Rye Rye after hearing her rap on DJ Blaqstarr's 2006 club hit 'Shake It Down To the Ground' and made her the first signing to her own N.E.E.T. label. With the arrival of her eagerly anticipated debut album, Go! Pop! Bang! out February 22nd on N.E.E.T/Interscope, Rye Rye gives fans a taste of what's to come with her new single 'Sunshine Ft. M.I.A.' which Rolling Stone deems, 'a sweet percolating electro-pop cut that sounds like Judy Jetson's fave double-dutch jam.' Go! Pop! Bang! features production by Diplo, Blaqstarr, Count and Sinden, and M.I.A among others. (https://www.myspace.com/tharealryerye)

CHRISTINA PERRI - On June 30th 2010 a raw, defiant break-up song that Christina Perri had written called 'Jar of Hearts' aired on Fox's So You Think You Can Dance as a backdrop to a memorable performance and suddenly the 24 year old's life was forever changed. The song struck a chord with viewers, becoming an overnight sensation and crashing onto the iTunes charts. Perri was even invited to perform the song on the show. After landing at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and at No. 1 on Amazon's digital singles chart, the track sold 200,000 downloads in three weeks, shortly after she signed with Atlantic Records. The songs Perri is recording for her debut album are all about love, excelling at setting dark, tumultuous emotions to stunning, pretty melodies. (https://www.myspace.com/christinaperri)
