Jack White turns himself in

DETROIT (White Stripes Fan Website) - Jack White turned himself in to police this morning to face aggravated assault charges stemming from a bar-room altercation in which the White Stripes frontman allegedly attacked Jason Stollsteimer of The Von Bondies. White surrendered to authorities this morning at a Detroit police station where he had a mug shot taken.

Jack White was also finger-printed and formally booked on the charges before he was released on $100 (US) bond. White will be arraigned in Detroit next month.
