Prs For Music Announces Britain's Hardest Working Bands Of 2010
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ PRS For Music) Peter Andre has been crowned the most performed artist to headline at MAJOR VENUES for 2010 by PRS for Music.

PRS for Music, the organisation which collects royalties on behalf of its songwriter, composer and publisher members has released its annual series of charts on the hardest working performers in 2010 categorised by venue type.

Andre performed a 38 date Revelation concert tour in 2010, performing to almost 100,000 fans.

Status Quo claimed the title for the past two years but this year slipped into second place, with newcomers JLS coming in third.

Peter Andre said "Nothing beats performing live. Performing in front of thousands of fans is my ultimate experience so I'm delighted to get this recognition from PRS for Music."

During an illustrious career, now spanning almost two decades, Peter Andre has had four top 10 UK albums and ten top 10 singles. Since appearing in ITV1's I'm a Celebrity his popularity has enjoyed a resurgence and he has recorded new material with a range of songwriters. New tour dates for 2011 have already been announced.

Barney Hooper, Head of PR at PRS for Music said "Performing live has always been a huge part of the music business and it's right we celebrate those that work so hard at it. Congratulations to Peter and all the songwriters who he has worked with to create the music that so many people are enjoying."
