Big Time Rush Revs Up For Nickelodeon's 2011 Kids' Choice Awards Performance On Saturday, April 2
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Nickelodeon / Columbia Records) Big Time Rush, the stars of the Nickelodeon hit comedy series of the same name, will take center stage for a headline performance of their new single, "Boyfriend," live at this year's 2011 Kids' Choice Awards.

Big Time Rush has been nominated in the Favorite Music Group category while "Big Time Rush," the series, is a contender for Favorite TV Show. The 2011 Kids' Choice Awards will air live from the Galen Center at USC in Los Angeles on Nickelodeon Saturday, April 2, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/Tape delayed for West Coast) and a new episode of the series "Big Time Girl Group" will premiere Saturday, April 9 at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT).

Big Time Rush's first official radio single, "Boyfriend," made its Top 40 chart debut this week. MTV has added the group's video for the track to its on-air rotation which will begin on Monday, March 28. The clip can also be seen on MTV Hits, TeenNick and Nick. The "Boyfriend" video has drawn more than three million online views while Big Time Rush clips on YouTube have drawn more than 60 million views to-date.

B.T.R., the band's debut album, was released in October 2010, rocketing to No 1 on the Top Soundtracks and Top Kids albums charts while peaking at No 3 on the Billboard 200. With more than 400,000 albums and nearly 2 million combined digital tracks sold so far, B.T.R. has remained in the top 100 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart since its release.

Big Time Rush - Kendall, James, Carlos and Logan - were the subjects of a Parade Magazine Q&A feature that hit stands March 27. The group also sat down for an interview with Ryan Seacrest airing March 29. Big Time Rush has been showcased in online features with EW.com, Yahoo! Music, AOL Music, CosmoGirl, Seventeen and others. The group is active on both Twitter and Facebook, where they've garnered well over a million fans.

B.T.R. consists of original songs from the hit Nickelodeon series "Big Time Rush," including the hit "City Is Ours." For their debut album, Big Time Rush teamed up with some of today's top producers and writers including Kevin Rudolf (Leona Lewis, Lil Wayne), Claude Kelly (Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears), S*A*M and Sluggo (Boys Like Girls, We The Kings, Gym Class Heroes) and OFM (Jay Sean).

Big Time Rush, produced in partnership with Sony Music, had the highest-rated and most-watched live-action series premiere with kids, tweens and total viewers (6.8 million) in the history of Nickelodeon. Created by Scott Fellows (Ned's DeClassified School Survival Guide), Big Time Rush, follows four best friends from Minnesota-Kendall, James, Carlos and Logan-as they trade in their hockey sticks and parkas for a chance at music superstardom in Los Angeles. With a few misadventures along the way, the boys quickly find out that life in Hollywood is not all about hanging at the pool and attending parties. After proving to themselves and their record label that they are serious about their musical career, Big Time Rush are now ready for the next phase of their personal and professional lives. Between juggling the demands of their newfound fame, romantic relationships, finding their own personal musical style and homework the group learns that success comes with hard work and dedication - and the support of one another.
