NEW YORK (PJ Harvey Official Website) - The current undisputed Queen of Rock, Polly Jean Harvey, announces details of her seventh album! Album number seven, comes with the odd moniker of 'Uh Huh Her'. It'll be released by Island Records on the 31st May 2004.
The album will is preceded by single 'The Letter' on Monday 17th May.

The album was written, performed, recorded, mixed & produced by Harvey, who chose Head to assist in additional recording and mixing and Rob Ellis, long time collaborator, to play drums and percussion on the album. Multi-instrumentalist, Harvey, played everything else a la Grohl on the Foo's debut.

The full tracklisting of 'Uh Huh Her' is as follows:
1.The Life and Death of Mr Badmouth
2.Shame
3.Who The Fuck?
4.The Pocket Knife
5.The Letter
6.The Slow Drug
7.No Child of Mine
8.Cat on the Wall
9.You Come Through
10.It's You
11.The End
12.The Desperate Kingdom of Love
13.The Darker Days of Me & Him

Polly will be promoting the album with European festival appearances this summer, including a mainstage slot at Glastonbury, T in the Park and Oxygen in Ireland. European dates include a solo show at Le Zenith, Paris (as previously reported) and a headline appearance at the Primavera Festival, Barcelona.
More dates, including we assume some headline dates, are to be announced.
The stage is truly set for this album as Polly's last album 'Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea' won the 2001 Mercury Prize. She also spent a summer with Josh Homme and last year dropped a noizy rock monster with him as a single for the Dessert Sessions. Last year she was also appeared on records by John Parish (who played on some of Harvey's Nineties recordings), Giant Sand, Mark Lanegan, Gordon Gano and not so long ago with Sparklehorse too. You may also remember her as a cult star of the 90s wearing lots of eyeliner and lipstick.
