Xperience Live Presents 3
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Xperience Live 3) For those of you who have been asking, yes the show is BACK on Saturday 16 July and it promises to be a night of some of the best bands in Hong Kong in a great alfresco setting of Xperience at G/F., 33 Lockhart Rd., Wanchai.

The evening kicks off with that funky groovy band known as Karat whose lead vocalist Cherry knows how to party! Then we have Hong Kong's own answer to Nirvana in the shape of Amino Shower. Closely followed by post-futuresque Logo who we have pinned down for a gig after various tours in Asia. Finally The Sleeves bring their arcade rock which if its good enough for Peaches and Gary Numan, then its good enough for us.

Karat

Karat is like a dynamic, energetic and creative bar tender, who makes
a cocktail of music. First, put some funky and groovy rhythms as the
base. Next, mix with some disco, rock and pop elements in it. Then,
shake it for a while, here comes Karat's music! Just simply move and
groove your body and get high with us! The chemical reactions among us
will be ever-changing! Watch out!

Amino Shower

You got off from the work like hell, thought bulimia not bothering so much as before, the whole thing just came up easily, with a single pull at the throat...while still gasping for air, you stared at the TV screen playing with the grandma pussy, so you went internet for the back of control, your friends, speechless like mummies sitting next to you, opening up their mind there like a career, you get more and more confused anyway...
Fed up with that kind of crab, without any other choices you reached for the Amino Shower CD bought last time, gone through it with fast button tightly under your fingertip ...it still couldn't move you a bit, despite you had found your insomnia torturing for weeks disappeared secretly...
If Amino Shower will become very popular in Hong Kong, this shall probably not because of their music is good...it rather telling how bad our entertaining experience is.

Logo

Logo are an Anglo Chinese Band with members coming form Liverpool London and Hong Kong. Although, the press have tried to label the band the band as psychedelic or post punk , the band consider themselves at the forefront of their own "post-futuresque" movement . The difficulty in pidgeon holing the band has led to comparisons as diverse as Ray Davies, Joe Strummer Talking Heads, Pink Floyd. Echoes of these may be heard in the music by the listeners , but the band is intent on forging its own sound .
Logos, first full album "Illegal Brain" was released in Japan in November of 2010, and its major release to Hong Kong and the rest of the world was in January 2011 and it is available on the major digital sites as well as retailing through outlets such as HMV. Time Out Hong Kong letters commenting on the album " This is easily the best thing to come out of Hong Kong's indie scene in the last couple of years".... "Logo have put down a marker for other indie acts in Hong Kong".
Having appeared earlier this year at the Springscream Festival in Taiwan and fresh from a tour of the PRC, Logo are back at their home base promising a new set with plenty of fresh material.

The Sleeves

Based in Hong Kong but emanating from the piers of Brighton, the snickets of Berkhamsted and the ginnels of Leeds, The Sleeves come to slay all before them with crunch & groove, croon & fuzz, beat & melody. Since their first performance in 2008, The Sleeves have been making a noise in the Hong Kong independent music scene with their self-styled 'Arcade Rock' and in 2010 played support slots in Macau for Peaches, Gary Numan and Unkle. Their debut album is currently being mixed and mastered for release on Metal Postcard Records in Autumn 2011.
