Interactive Networks, the largest interactive out-of-home entertainment network in North America, has released news of its network's latest nationwide promotions which feature music from
Wilco and
Sublime with Rome. Full details on each upcoming promotion include:
Sublime with Rome New Album - Yours Truly
Sublime, the beloved and legendary 90's American ska/rock group, achieved popularity with their first album, 40 Oz. to Freedom, but reached major commercial success upon the release of their 1996 self-titled third album. This record produced the smash hit single, "What I Got," which reached the #1 spot on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart and launched
Sublime into the mainstream musical landscape. The group disbanded that same year upon the untimely passing of front-man Bradley Nowell, but Sublime's music continued on its path of success; since formation,
Sublime has sold over 17 million albums worldwide, and their self-titled third record is now considered by fans and critics to be a classic of its genre. Since 2010, Sublime's Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson have performed under the name
Sublime with Rome, collaborating with singer-guitarist Rome Ramirez. As a celebration of the group, TouchTunes is promoting
Sublime with Rome's debut album, Yours Truly, across TouchTunes digital jukeboxes and TouchTunesTV screens nationwide starting August 16.
Wilco New Single - I Might
Wilco was founded in 1994 by the remaining members of the influential alternative country group Uncle Tupelo. Since their debut album, A.M,
Wilco has released seven more albums and has become a fan favorite on TouchTunes. Their fourth and most commercially successful album, 2002's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, was met with critical acclaim and sold over 590,000 albums. Not long after,
Wilco won two Grammy Awards for their fifth studio album, 2004's A
Ghost Is Born. Their most recent album,
Wilco (The Album), featured popular singer-songwriter
Feist on the track "You and I." As with their three previous albums, the band chose to stream the full album on their website prior to release. A huge success, the album hit charts at #4 on Billboard's Top 200 Album chart and #2 on Billboard's Top Rock Albums chart. This September,
Wilco is scheduled to release their eighth studio album, The Whole Love, which is the first record to come from the band's new label, dBpm Records. In support of the release, TouchTunes is promoting the album's lead single, "I Might," across TouchTunes
Digital Jukeboxes and TouchTunesTV screens nationwide starting August 16.
