The Cherrytree Pop Alternative Tour
Santa Monica, CA (Top40 Charts) When you've outgrown your adobe in Los Angeles, torn the roof off of Hard Rock in New York City's Times Square, and conquered the dancefloor in east London, the next logical step is a tramp across the Great White North: CANADA OR BUST! Cherrytree Records, your pop alternative, hosts superstars LMFAO with special guests Far East Movement, Natalia Kills, Frankmusik, Rye Rye, Kay and Colette Carr on the label's first ever concert tour. Cherrytree "Rec'ers" far and wide, gather for this tour de force!

Cherrytree Records founder, Martin Kierszenbaum, could not be more thrilled: "It's a privilege to have this extraordinary caliber of artists on the first 'Cherrytree Pop Alternative Tour.' It's also an honor to be launching it in Canada where Cherrytree has received so much love and support for our Pop Alternative sound."

Grammy-nominated hip-hop duo LMFAO will bring their kinetic "Party Rock" as the tour's headliners. LMFAO are no strangers to their northern neighbors: Sorry For Party Rocking is certified Platinum in Canada. Redfoo is stoked: "I'm excited to perform in Canada with all of our Cherrytree label mates! I guarantee each show will be a night you will never forget."

Special guests electro-hip hop quartet Far East Movement will be coming all the way from downtown Los Angeles to perform smashes form their electro-bounce hip hop album Free Wired including "Rocketeer" and 'Like A G6'. Kev Nish added, "This tour is the only way we wanted to end our year. We're huge fans of Cherrytree and its artists. Martin Kierszenbaum has made Cherrytree feel like a home and there is a camaraderie between all the artists where we collaborate and work together as a family; it's exciting we now have a tour to showcase that."

Born in Bradford to a Jamaican father and Uruguayan mother, Natalia Kills has been tipped by Perez Hilton, RWD, i-D and Grazia. Creating razor-edged pop, her debut album, Perfectionist, debuted #1 on the US Billboard Heatseekers Chart. Kills has toured with the likes of Katy Perry, Black Eyed Peas, Ke$ha, Robyn and Kelis. Her single "Free' featuring will.i.am was #1 in Austria, top 10 in Germany. She is also featured on LMFAO's hit track "Champagne Showers.'

Wrapping up his first major tour in support of Erasure, Frankmusik will perform selections from his sophomore album Do It In The AM. South London's digi-pop wunderkind is back with his new single "No I.D." featuring label-mate Colette Carr.

With the arrival of her debut album, Go! Pop! Bang, Baltimore's Rye Rye has distilled the sounds of living into an unclassifiable collection of ten tracks, a collision of the mad movement of every day into a celebratory dance. Following her lead single debut 'Sunshine' featuring mentor M.I.A., Rye Rye is now getting down with Cherrytree's Robyn on the poignant 'Never Will Be Mine.'

Emotional. Crazy. Soulful. Throwback. Electric. And that's just Kay's music. She's championed by OneRepublic's songwriter/producer Ryan Tedder and has popped up on tracks by Diplo, Steve Aoki, Tiesto and Wallpaper.

Colette Carr's brand of Malibu-flavored "hip-pop" blends early Eminem with classic Cindi Lauper. The video for her latest single, 'No I.D.' with label mate and frequent collaborator Frankmusik, is a throwback to the 1978 film Grease-meets a mutant glee. Colette recently hit no. 1 on Billboard's Uncharted Chart and topped MTV.com's playlist with her video "Back It Up."

Founded in 2005 by songwriter, producer and label executive Martin Kierszenbaum, Cherrytree Records has had a huge impact on modern pop, launching the 15 million album selling Lady Gaga in 2009 as well as guiding the flourishing US careers of Robyn, La Roux, Feist, Ellie Goulding and worldwide successes of LMFAO and Far East Movement. In the process, Cherrytree Records and CherrytreeRecords.com have become a source for pop alternative music and culture as well as catalysts for artist collaboration and innovation.

Cherrytree Records is known for their novel approach to bringing great pop to people. Flowing in and around the tour will be Cherrytree Cola: Cherrytree has worked in close partnership with legendary beverage maker Fentimans to brew a flavorful new cherry cola that fits the unique Cherrytree Records brand. Cherrytree Cola is available in select Whole Foods stores now. Stay tuned to drinkthemusic.com for updates.
